Why Your Office Layout Affects Your Income
In Feng Shui, your workspace is a direct reflection of your career energy. The arrangement of your desk, the direction you face, and the objects around you either channel wealth energy (财气) or block it. A poorly positioned home office can silently drain your earning potential.
1. Find Your Power Position
The most important rule is the Commanding Position. Your desk should be placed diagonally facing the door, not directly in line with it.
- DO place your desk so you can see the door without turning
- DO have a solid wall behind you (symbolic mountain of support)
- DON'T sit with your back to a window or door
- DON'T sit directly facing a wall
- DON'T place your desk in direct line with the door

Center (Opportunity): Keep clear. A small crystal can activate this area.
4. Colors That Attract Wealth
- Purple and Gold — Most powerful wealth colors
- Green — Growth and abundance
- Blue and Black — Career depth and wisdom
- Avoid too much red (aggression) or white (emptiness)
5. What to Avoid
- Sharp pointed objects toward your seat (Sha Qi)
- Mirrors facing your desk (doubles workload)
- Clutter behind your chair (unreliable support)
- Dead plants (stagnant energy)
